askMe! – E-Assessment 3.0 for the Cybersecurity Training Lab

The personalized and interactive e-assessment system askMe! offers a new web-based and mobile platform for the qualified assessment of professional competencies for personnel development and professional development. askMe! adapts the assessment process individually to the learner, recognizes knowledge gaps and trains in a specific way. Due to that, the learner's mental over- or underloading can be avoided. In addition to a mobile test environment for knowledge tests, Fraunhofer IDMT also shows the development of questions and tests as well as the various possibilities for test evaluation.

Acoustic condition monitoring and quality control

The combination of acoustic measurement technology, signal analysis, pattern recognition as well as secure processing of measurement data opens up new possibilities for monitoring production processes and product quality. Within the new business unit "Industrial Media Applications" (IMA) Fraunhofer IDMT is bundling its long-term expertise regarding these research areas. Due to the synergetic use of proven technologies Fraunhofer IDMT provides an integral approach to the monitoring of processes and products. Through the modular design of the technologies optimized solutions can be offered for the respective application. This includes, among other things, the implementation on embedded systems with local data processing, solutions for scalable infrastructures or retrofitting for networking with industry 4.0 technologies. The developed algorithms are resilient, work even under difficult acoustic conditions and can be adapted by interchangeable recognition models.
