Konferenz

Vom 25. bis 29. September 2023 findet die »5^th Polish-German Structured Conference on Acoustics (PGSCA 2023)« in Karpacz statt. Ziel der Konferenz, die gemeinsam von der Polnischen Gesellschaft für Akustik PTA und der DEGA organisiert wird, ist es, die Kontakte zwischen der polnischen und deutschen Akustik zu vertiefen und Erfahrungen und Ideen auszutauschen. Die PGSCA 2023 findet im Rahmen des »69^th Open Seminar on Acoustics« statt.

In einem Fachvortrag zum Thema »A new, bio-inspired microphone design« stellt unser Akustikexperte Dr. Daniel Beer ein neuartiges bio-inspiriertes Mikrofon vor und bewertet dessen Potenzial als akustischer Sensor im Vergleich zu herkömmlichen Mikrofonen:

Diverse trending technologies such as the voice control of machines or automatic acoustic condition monitoring are creating an ever-increasing demand for a microphone technology that is well-suited to as many different sound situations as possible. This talk presents a novel bio-inspired microphone and uses measurements to estimate its potential, compared to conventional microphones, as an acoustic sensor in future applications.

Session »Electroacoustic«

Als Session Chair leitet Dr. Daniel Beer gemeinsam mit Andrzej Dobrucki (Wrocław University of Science and Technology) die Session »Electroacoustics«. Vorgestellt und diskutiert werden Beiträge zu: 

• Electrodynamic pick-up for electric string instruments
• Analytical modeling of the harmonic distortion caused by squeeze film damping in MEMS-based acoustic transducers
• First-order ambisonics microphone with MEMS and condenser capsules
• Azimuth and elevation errors in binaural reproduction of ambisonic sound
  
• Sound power level as a means of effectiveness of Distributed Mode Loudspeakers
