The University of Oldenburg and the Oldenburg Branch of the Fraunhofer IDMT can already look back on many years of close and trusting cooperation. Therefore, we were very pleased about the inaugural visit of Prof. Dr. Bruder, the president of the University of Oldenburg. We used the time together last Thursday for an exciting exchange of experiences - and of course to show him our practice-oriented research. Together with our managers of the Oldenburg Branch Prof. Dr. Dr. Birger Kollmeier and Dr. Jens Appell and some of our colleagues, we presented the history of our Branch. Of course, demonstrators from our current research were not to be missed, because last year we were able to reach many customers with our research - for example at the Hannover Messe and in our industry working group »Audio Technology for Intelligent Production« - for example with our »Hearable for the industrial workplace«. We also discussed the potential of near-ear acoustic sensor technology, for example with our SensOhr® research platform. Especially in the area of health research, in the acquisition of sleep data by means of EEG, we are pleased about the close exchange with the University of Oldenburg.
