Working Groups

Electroacoustics

The Electroacoustics working group develops innovative loudspeaker technologies comprising Hifi-, alarm- or smartphone speakers, also based on MEMS technology. The main goals are the reduction of the enclosure size and performance optimization/maximization, which are based on novel principles for sound generation and guidance as well as optimized loudspeaker control by means of digital signal processing.

Virtual Acoustics

The central research topic of the Virtual Acoustics working group is to develop algorithms and systems for spatial recording, analysis, processing, and reproduction of sound fields. For professional applications in the field of fixed installations and live sound 3D audio systems are being develped and configured. The group offers both tailor-made, full-fledged solutions and customer specific adaptations of existing audio systems.
