PHAROS – Platform for searcH of Audiovisual Resources across Online Spaces

The goal of the »PHAROS« project was the development of an A/V search platform based on automatic semantic tagging, including new methods for query brokerage, scheme-agnostic and content-based search, browsing, content-awareness and personalisation, spam detection and media security.

Responsibilities of Fraunhofer IDMT

For PHAROS, Fraunhofer IDMT contributed mainly to automatic semantic music tagging, content registration and identification, copyright management, stimulus based media distribution, media security and data protection.
