IBC 2017 - Fraunhofer IDMT presents its latest technologies for audiovisual analysis and media asset management
Metadata Extraction
Automatic distinction between speech and music, to detect video shots and objects in videos, or to annotate tempo, mood or genre information from music.
Automatic detection of partial content overlaps within and across media asset management systems, which can be used for duplicate removal, metadata curation, rights clearance or radio/TV stream analysis.
Automatic detection of recording devices, e.g. to adapt further processing, to detect traces of previous encoding to avoid quality problems, or to detect traces of editing.
