DMD4Future – Digitized Material and Data Value Chains

Fraunhofer IDMT is part of an internal Fraunhofer innovation program dealing with the digitized material and data value chain.

In the DMD4Future project, new data-based technology competencies for the description and optimization within and along the different phases of the material and product life cycle are being developed. In addition, the basis for data-driven business models and digital value-added services in materials management will be prepared.

There is currently no established and above all secure data exchange format for the interoperable transmission of acoustic data. Only if data protection and data security are assured, the exchange of data will be encouraged and finally the development of AI-based analysis algorithms will be favored.

• Requirements analysis of interfaces, protocols and data formats necessary for acoustic monitoring
• Specification of a data model
• Data protection, data anonymization and preservation of data sovereignty
